Here is another poster idea for Franklinton. Any feelings or reactions?

This poster shows the incredible passion felt for this neighborhood. I was deeply touched by Father Lutz' story about Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Here are a few more images that I took on the tour on Sat. The image of the two nuns are of Sisters of Mary of the Springs or Ohio Dominican University.

I continue to be blown away with a community that seems to draw more attention to it's negative aspects while more and more appealing attributes continue to reveal themselves to me and seem to slip under the radar. I took a 2 hour tour of the Holy Family Jubilee Museum and Catholic Cultural Center and barely skimmed the wealth of Religious art and relics on display. Father Lutz conducted the tour along with Carly, the museum manager. Father Lutz is an incredibly knowledgable historian responsible for this amazing collection.

These are a few rough sketches of what I was trying to explain about manipulating various images of homes/renderings in Franklinton. I also had an interview with Nick, the owner of Phillip's Coney Island. He is going to scan some original photos of their business and e-mail them to me. Ironically, he told me that some of the most uncredited support for revitalization of Franklinton, during some of it's worst times, was the church's. They offered food, education, clothing, recovery programs for substance abuse, and help finding jobs. Thanks so much, Jessica Biretta and Josh Watson for your enlightenment. I'm not exactly sure how to engage that concept, but it is worth investigating. I'm going to try to set up a meeting with Father Lutz at Holy Family.
